Please, just make the registration optional - I’m not going to make an account for an app I purchased years ago and so the money I originally paid for is otherwise a waste. UPDATE #1: They now mention the registration requirement in the “what’s new” release notes, but the reasons they give aren’t great in my opinion. It gives me hope when companies buck the trend to collect more data (or open the door for this data collection), and I’m more than happy to give the program a five-star rating now that they have removed this requirement. I’m very pleased to say that the developer has listened to the user base and removed the mandatory account creation. Don’t worry, we won’t bother you too often.
