Also the characters are very fleshed out and several outcomes can happen when interacting with them. The story seems good and has many twists and turns but, it's over reliance with these gimmicks gets quite old quick. There are so many cut scenes and dialogues that halts game play for long periods of time. Story: Very good in general but most of it I had to skip. Do not waste your time, use google and see where to go like I did because if not, you will not have a clue where to go. Which locals? There are so many yet it is a specific character you need to speak to which you would waste hours trying to look for. Some quests says speak to locals for more information. It is great for games to not tell you what to do sometimes, here it felt very needed most of the times. I spent one whole hour trying to find the nekkers nest contract and only found 2. Quests: I basically googled almost every single quests just because I had no idea where to go most of the time. Make sure to delete save files you do not want. The reason why it does not work is because it jams up your memory when loading the game, causing your save files to take longer to load and to even access the save menu takes a while.
Basically every single quest you do is saved separately which sounds very good for those who want to backtrack and get some different choices in your playthrough. Save system: Incredibly well thought out, terribly implemented.

The base game did not have great menu systems but, mods can help with these issues. Drinking potions is a hassle, buying or selling is also a hassle. Menu system: I find this games menu frustrating. The graphics are good enough that you can differentiate objects and enemies very well. I had several terrain bugs where I could see through the entire world.
Graphics: For an old game, this game actually looks pretty good which is surprising. If you would judge without mods, it would be a very tedious game and comparable to "World of Warcraft" when it first came out.

It is a very good game especially if you download mods that improve almost every aspect of the game where the base game fails. Big improvement from "The Witcher 1" and is comparable to "Fable".
